I once worked a job site with the pack of hyenas. I felt gratefully to survive the ordeal and not to be the target, only the spectator. Never knew that they could so enjoy the kill of the weakest in their midst. Even as the gorilla, I was surprised by the verasity of the pack mentality. But the experience did prepare me somewhat for extended in-law family fighting for a piece of an inheritence that they could not begin to justify legally or morally. I've seen it so that I know that it exists, but I still can't wrap my mind around the nature of it.
